Video – Fighting Dengue in Hawaii
Visionary video created a video for SpringStar about the company’s assistance in Hawaii during the Dengue Outbreak of 2015-2016. SpringStar makes traps that trick female mosquitoes into laying eggs in them. The small amount of insecticide in the trap kills eggs and the female. The result is a reduction of the overall mosquito population. SpringStar took an interest in the Dengue Outbreak at the start when people were falling ill on Hawaii Island. The community was starting to panic. State government was slow to share information. SpringStar helped by freely sharing its expertise about mosquitoes, how to control them and how to help stop the spread of disease.
