Many people are working to solve the problem of food insecurity in Hawaii. In 2019, before the coronavirus pandemic, we talked with farmers, ranchers, academics, health care workers, non-profit food distributors, and others, to find out why so little food is being produced in Hawai’i, and how that trend can be reversed.
